In a rapidly changing climate and biodiversity landscape, how are youth voices shaping the national agenda? What does meaningful youth participation in environmental governance look like and how can we ensure it lasts?
Organised by Singapore Youth Voices for Biodiversity (SYVB), this roundtable convenes some of Singapore’s most engaged young environmental advocates for a critical, youth-led conversation on biodiversity conservation, climate diplomacy and youth mobilisation.
The panellists will share their experiences navigating policy spaces, coordinating youth-led initiatives and building cross-sector coalitions. The discussion will also examine how youth can move beyond awareness-raising toward sustained, policy-relevant impact, especially in the context of Singapore’s environmental challenges and opportunities.
This programme is designed to engage and empower youth as the primary audience, providing them with a dynamic platform to explore and learn. At the same time, it warmly welcomes participants of all ages, recognising that environmental advocacy, and the pathway towards a sustainable future, is a collective undertaking.
Whether you are a young changemaker just starting out or someone passionate about supporting youth-led initiatives, this inclusive space invites everyone to join the conversation, share perspectives and contribute to building a more just, sustainable and biodiverse future together.
